National Read Across America Day was established in 1998 by the National Education Association (NEA), to help get students excited about reading. On this day students, teachers, parents, and community members around the nation come together to read books and celebrate the joy of reading.
This years’ National Read Across American Day will happen on March 2, 2021. National Read Across America Day occurs each year on the birthday of children’s book author Dr. Seuss.
Books are provided at no cost by The Literacy Empowerment Foundation and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Recipients only pay shipping, handling, and administrative costs, which is only $0.88 cents per softcover book ($88.00 per set of 100 books) Orders must be received by February 10, 2021. Order today!
