Session Date
Participants will take the time to explore your district?`s student data starting with Insights ND, then log into the Statewide Longitudinal Data System to view and analyze more in depth district and school trend and current year data. Some of the reports covered will be: accountability, enrollment, assessment and attendance. How to set up tracking intervention data, starting at the district, school, and down to the student level will be shared. Time will be available to collaborate with other attendees on how they are currently using data and how data on Insights ND and within the SLDS will assist them in continuing student improvement.
Session Objectives
  • Demonstrate ability to implement tracking and intervention strategies by utilizing data from Insights ND and SLDS.
  • Develop comprehensive plans to address student challenges and enhance learning experiences at the district, school, and individual student levels, integrating data-driven decision-making into educational practices.
  • Engage in cooperative discussions with fellow attendees to exchange experiences and innovative approaches in utilizing data from Insights ND and SLDS.
  • Examine diverse reports such as accountability, enrollment, assessment, and attendance within the Statewide Longitudinal Data System (SLDS) to derive insightful patterns and trends at both district and school levels, fostering a deeper understanding of student performance and educational outcomes.
  • Synthesize shared insights to develop strategies that leverage data for ongoing student improvement, fostering a collaborative learning environment that empowers educators to maximize the potential of student data analysis.
