The Strategic CSforALL Resource & Implementation Planning Tool (SCRIPT) is a framework to guide teams of district administrators, school leaders, and educators through a series of collaborative visioning, self-assessment, and goal-setting exercises to create or expand upon a computer science education implementation plan for their students.
The workshops are generally two full days with an average of five participants from each district. Teams from each district are comprised of administrators (both school and district level) and educators.
This is a school team workshop to improve school technology use, resource planning, and leadership.

Topic Major Goal
School districts and local education organizations are the change toward creating rigorous, inclusive and sustainable K-12 computer science education. SCRIPT supports system-level change for five key areas: Leadership, Teacher Capacity, Curriculum Selection and Refinement, Partners, and Community.
Objective Description
- Analyze the school's existing computer science education implementation plan, evaluating its strengths and weaknesses in relation to the five key areas of system-level change proposed by SCRIPT.
- Apply the SCRIPT framework to assess their school's current technology utilization, resource allocation, and leadership strategies, identifying specific areas for improvement and refinement in alignment with the five key areas.
- Critically examine resource allocation, leadership practices, and teacher capacity development to identify areas of alignment and potential incongruities.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the key components and objectives of the SCRIPT framework, including its role in guiding district administrators, school leaders, and educators to create comprehensive computer science education implementation plans.
- Integrate effective strategies for enhancing school technology use, resource planning, and leadership development, culminating in a cohesive plan that addresses specific school context while aligning with the broader goals of CSforALL initiatives.
- Synthesize the insights gained from the workshop to design a customized computer science education implementation plan that leverages the SCRIPT framework's principles.
