Teachers will explore the CYBER.ORG Science+ Curriculum. This curriculum explores the phenomenon-based approach and hands-on science activities with technology ideas built in. The modules are designed for students to learn the engineering design process to understand concepts and solutions. This course provides teachers with hands-on experience in how the course works and provides them with methods of teaching computer science and cybersecurity concepts in the elementary grade levels. Completion of this workshop fulfills 8 hours towards the requirement for North Dakota Level III credential for Computer Science and Cybersecurity. This asynchronous workshop will be held monthly through MS Teams. You will receive an email from your instructor with directions on how to access course content. This is a Pass/Fail course.
